This is the best south shore Kauai location, it is in a mature tropical setting with a small stream winding through the property. Our pathways are lined with beautiful flowering plants and trees. Calm, quiet, peaceful is the walk through this little piece of paradise. The gorgeous blue tile swimming pool is landscaped with an incredible variety of orchids and species palm trees.
A walk out the back gate of the property turning left puts you at the Koloa Landing, the premiere diving and snorkeling spot on the south Shore. It is a short walk up the street heading east leads to the ocean and the sandy beaches of Waiohai. Leaving our back gate and turning right heading west takes you past “secret baby beach” and within ten minutes you are at the famous “Beach House” and Prince Kuhio beach.
Amazing sunsets, great snorkeling and world class surf spots all at the “Beach House” set back relax and take it all in!
Across the street from WaiKomo we have the Kukuiula shopping mall, it has everything. We have fine dining to casual restaurants, ice cream shops, art galleries, clothing stores, surf shops, organic grocery stores and more. On Wednesday they have a great farms market (don’t miss it, local fruits, vegetables and foods) a good time and it starts right at Happy Hour!
Just to make it easy for you to find all the great beaches, hiking, shopping etc. on Kauai we have a copy of the “Ultimate” Kauai guide book in our unit (coffee table drawer) enjoy it….and be sure to leave it.
Now we are the back building ground floor end unit #303. This means sunlight and trade winds all day long, no parking lot noise, no car alarms, no one dragging suitcases by the front door or stairs to climb. We have a private and quiet back patio, it's great place anytime, especially for breakfast.
Our condo is 1000 sq ft one bedroom with a spacious kitchen, separate living room and dining room. What we have done is completely remodeled it, everything is new from cabinets in the bath and kitchen to carpeting, counters, fixtures and furniture.
We have a walk in shower with travertine tile and stone counter tops. The unit has its own washer and dryer with dish a washer in the kitchen. We have ceiling fans in all the rooms with recessed can lighting, all with dimmer controls.
The furniture is from the CW WO gallery Honolulu. You will find that as this is our second home we designed and furnished it with quality and comfort in mind. The bedroom has a Sealy pillow top Cal king bed with “protect a bed system”.
We have two 50 inch ultra HD Samsung Smart TV’s and we have a Netflix account that is already setup on the TV’s. The entertainment is a VIZO sound bar bluetooth capable for you music. Cable TV and High speed internet with Wi-Fi ready to use (the password is on the router).
Our pantry is completely stocked as well as the kitchen is for everything you need. A Cuisinart Teflon complete set of pots and pans and every kitchen utensil you need. Check the large pantry everything from rice cookers to crock pots, coffee grinders it is all there.
To make it even more enjoyable boogie board, beach mats, chairs and coolers are in the pantry for you to use.
Now if golf is your game you have three courses all within ten minutes of your front door at Waikomo. Let me give you my ratings and you can pick (remember check twilight rates and online deals).

Here’s the local golf tip: drive 15 minutes up to Kalaheo and play the nine hole at Kukuiolono , it is set in a park with incredible views of the south and west shores,
We suggest when visiting Kauai slow down relax and you will find a lot of smiling faces and friendly people…it’s called “Island Style”.
So here are some do’s and don'ts about Waikomo Stream Villas and our home.
It is a NO SMOKING complex….out front by the pool area only!
Please wash off sand from feet and beach chairs before coming inside (hose on front patio)
Keep sliding doors closed (the geckos and their flying bug friends want to come inside)
Do not put 'HOT' pots or pans on stone counters(we have holders on stove) it discolors stone.
Please use the Hawaiian quilt as a cover on the couch (it keeps the sunscreen etc off the fabric)
Please remove your shoes before entering condo
Pool keys are hanging up in pantry, please put back when done.
Please use the recycling containers (trash and recycling is located in back of parking area)
Electricity is from fossil fuel on Kauai please help conserve energy by turn off lights etc.
