Summary: Our room wasn’t ready on arrival we arrived at 4:30 to be sent away until 5 because it wasn’t ready when I asked to extend my stay I was given an extra hour, we had fire alarms going off constantly due to the kettle, no heating for the first 2 nights, no warning about the building works next door, no hot water, no top up of toilet tissue or tea making facilities and someone moving furniture until 5am on the top floor. The shower doesn’t really work and the sink is starting to fall off of the wall. I was really surprised as I’d stayed here previously and had no issues, I chose Avalon as it has a special meaning to me and my partner but I’d be reluctant to go here again. It’s not as well managed as previous experience.
