Hale Kona Kai unit 312 is one of our most popular units at Hale Kona Kai. This 3rd floor corner unit features a wraparound lanai facing west and south for full, unobstructed ocean views and the best possible breeze! The unit has been beautifully updated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay on top of the ocean. Central air conditioning keeps the unit comfortable, especially on those warmer days and nights. The most up-to-date internet/wifi equipment' features high speed wifi, a necessity for "working" remotely where Zoom conference calls may be necessary. Watch never-ending spectacular sunsets from the comfort of your lanai.
POOL NOTICE: The pool will be closed from June 21 - July 2, due to exterior work being completed close to the pool area.
AIR CONDITIONING UPDATE - January 2026
In the late fall of 2025, the central air conditioning system at Hale Kona Kai was replaced. The HVAC equipment that services the individual condo was also inspected, with and any and all required maintenance/repairs completed. The air conditioning is in peak condition at this time.

This unit comes equipped with beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and a small cooler for guests use. It may or may not have some snorkel gear that was left by previous guests. We do not provide snorkel gear. Non-fitting snorkel gear takes all the fun out of snorkeling, so it is best to rent your equipment while you are here.
The ocean is teeming with life! Sit on your lanai and watch spinning dolphins year around and humpback breaching just offshore during the winter and spring months. Turtles and eels find plenty of sustenance in the tide pools. Wake up and fall asleep to the calming sound of the ocean.

Summary: The view was simply fantastic, we spent a full day on the porch. The place was clean, well maintained, and spacious. My only 2 minor complaints: the couch had 4 legs on the front, both me and my wife stubbed our feet on them. Also, related, I would suggest moving the coffee table away from the couch.
