Summary: The rooms bathroom had paint peeling on the walls. The toilet was about 12 inches off the ground. We had to call the front desk for a hair dryer (promptly brought to our room). The ceiling above the bed had 2 brown spots smeared on it. A most disturbing incident happened in the evening once we settled in our room on the third floor with a privacy hanger on the outside of the door. Someone was knocking on our door (twice) so I got up and asked who was there while I was looking out the eyehole. A black male quickly headed down the hallway toward the elevator, and once I unlocked the door, that person was nowhere in sight. I called the front desk to let them know, and they said they would check it out. I never received a call back from the front desk. My wife and I could not sleep comfortably, as worry that this person would come back and try to enter our room. Consider installing cameras in the hallways.
