Summary: The staff were very nice. However, the room smelled VERY musty when we entered. The beds and bathroom looked clean but the floor was very dirty, it turned our white booties on our feet black after walking around in the room for just a few minutes. There were many gnats, flies and even moths flying around the room - we think because of whatever was causing the really musty smell. The sheets looked clean but seemed a bit dingy from the yellow water that you could see in the toilet bowl. The shower and toilet looked clean. But you could see the dirty spots on the floor and it was really off putting having our footies turn so dirty so quickly. The pool area looked really clean and inviting but we didn't come prepared to swim. The pet area outside was clean = no nasties on the ground, etc and there was plenty of poo bags and a trash can right there to throw away the full poo bags. I'm usually the type "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" but I believe some things need to be corrected and the dirty floor is definitely one of those. We appreciated that this was a pet friendly hotel and the smell in the room didn't smell like animal waste, just very musty like moldy stuff. But its a fact that even WITHOUT animals staying in the rooms, the floors should definitely be being mopped thoroughly between each and every guest.
