Fog & Fern Hideaway - Cozy Cabin w/Private Hot Tub near Mt. Rainier | Cabin in Ashford
2 Bedroom Cabin in Paradise Estates, Ashford
Tucked into the trees just minutes from Mt. Rainier, this cabin is set up for a true reset. Soak in the private cedar hot tub, cozy up by the wood stove, and fall asleep to the sound of the nearby creek. Whether it's a weekend escape or a longer stay, Fog & Fern is a quiet, private place to slow down and unplug.
Originally built in 1968, this cabin has been thoughtfully renovated to blend mountain charm with modern comfort. It sleeps up to 6 guests, making it just as good for a couples' getaway as it is for a small family trip, a girls' weekend, or a solo reset.
Upstairs, you'll find a cedar-lined A-frame sleeping area with two built-in queen beds with storage, plus a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo, updated fixtures, soft towels, and basic toiletries.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a home-cooked meal: a 30" range, blender, waffle maker, toaster, pots, pans, and both a standard drip coffee maker and a pour-over option (grounds provided, just bring your favorite creamer).
The living room is cozy and inviting, with a wood-burning stove, puzzles, board games, a Bluetooth speaker, and a smart TV with Roku (log in to your own Netflix or Prime account).
Step outside to your private deck, where you'll hear nothing but forest sounds. Relax in the cedar soaking hot tub or gather around the fire pit on a cool evening (firewood provided in fall and winter). You'll also have access to a community lake just a mile away, great for a summer swim or a peaceful picnic.
Mt. Rainier National Park is minutes away, with hiking, waterfalls, biking, and views around every corner. We recommend downloading the National Park Service app for trail conditions and road closures. When you're ready to venture out, the town of Ashford has local eateries, coffee shops, and shops worth a visit, or you can stay put and just enjoy the cabin.
Fog & Fern is also a great fit for creatives. Photographers and influencers are welcome. Reach out to us about collabs.
