This spacious 2 bedroom property has an abundance of original features, in particular beautiful stained glass windows depicting Scottish Saints and large stone arches that have been thoughtfully incorporated into the room design. The majestic rib vaulted ceiling and large ornate stone mullioned windows give a feeling of spaciousness and presence. The kitchen is stylish and well appointed with a large island and beautiful dining area.
The bedrooms are located on the first floor, accessed from the hall. The large galleried master bedroom with en-suite bathroom projects over the living area, allowing views of the stained glass windows and changing light throughout the day whilst still affording privacy. There is a twin bedroom on this level, which has access to a shower room on the ground floor. All rooms have been beautifully designed and tastefully furnished with great attention to detail.
This unique and beautifully furnished 2 bed apartment was formerly St Andrew's Chapel. Designed by Pugin the Chapel has elaborate gothic features, this differs from the main Abbey Church which was designed in Norman style during a later period.
The Highland Club itself is set in 20 acres of private gardens on the shores of Loch Ness. In the heart of the Highlands, this sympathetic conversion is an ideal base for exploring all that Scotland has to offer.
